Chee Meng went with me to the doctor this morning and the results confirms there are maglinant cells in the lump. He is suggesting surgery and then the follow-up treatments later on. We have scheduled surgery for next Thursday. It’s probably a one hour surgery and I could be discharged the next day. We are grateful that he’s ok with Thursday as I still hope to go for prayer for healing next Tuesday evening. I was ministered to when I went for prayer last evening as a family. It was not easy having all three of them with us. Thankfully the gentleman in the team also had 3 children and he was helping Chee Meng to distract them. The Lord knows my needs!! I was given the song ‘He Is Lord’, Psalm 34 and Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
How am I doing? Actually this morning I went with jitters in my tummy and I could feel my heart beating fast. When I dropped the children off at my mom’s, she wished me luck and told me that God will bless me. I felt so blessed 🙂 It’s such an honour to receive blessings from my own mom. I remember how Jacob wanted the blessing from Isaac.
I kept going to the Word and praying aloud. The Lord encouraged me with Proverbs 14:26-27
In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence,
And His children will have a place of refuge.
The fear of the LOR D is a fountain of life,
To turn one away from the snares of death.
When the news was told to me, I was calm. I accepted it. What will I do? I will continue to look to Him. I will continue to praise Him. I will continue to stand on His Word. I will continue to pray for God’s healing. I will continue to partake of the Holy Communion. He has His Perfect timing and I want to trust Him.
How’s Chee Meng taking it? He tells me that he’s with me in all these. I thank God for a faithful husband. Pray for him to draw supernatural strength and guidance from the Lord. Pray for him to be rooted in God’s Word so God can touch his heart.
I am thankful for my parents, who upon hearing the results, were very concerned. My mom assured me that she’ll help me out and I don’t have to worry about anything. I just have to eat and rest well. She said the same thing when I told her that Chee Meng will be off to reservist for a couple of weeks in Sep. I’m so thankful for that love and to think I doubted my mom….Lord, forgive me. Now everytime I think of my mom and my dad, I pray for God to SHOWER them with blessings and long life. I continue to pray the same for my brother and also for their salvation.
I am also thankful for the church and the friends who have been praying and have come to visit me. Thank you for the blessings.
